Training gauze is designed for practical wound-packing training where repeated practice is required without using expensive haemostatic products. Its dimensions, folding configuration, and handling characteristics replicate QuikClot Combat Gauze, allowing trainees to practise correct wound-packing technique, develop a consistent sequence of actions, and prepare for bleeding control situations under realistic training conditions.
The gauze can be used with simulated wound models and simulated blood, making it suitable for practical exercises, scenario-based training, and repeated practice sessions.
It provides a cost-effective solution for first aid, tactical medicine, and bleeding control training, allowing practical skills to be developed in a safe training environment while reserving haemostatic products for their intended clinical use.
