The Fire Cloak EV Fire Blanket is a cutting-edge fire containment system designed to control and limit the impact of electric vehicle (EV) fires. After extensive research, testing, and development, this high-performance fire blanket has been specifically engineered to contain EV fires, reducing collateral damage and protecting nearby vehicles and structures.
Lithium-ion battery fires are extremely dangerous and difficult to extinguish due to a phenomenon called Thermal Runaway. When a battery cell is damaged or malfunctions, it can short-circuit, generating extreme temperatures exceeding 1,000°C . The fire then spreads from one cell to another in a rapid chain reaction, making conventional firefighting methods ineffective. Fire Cloak offers a proven solution by depriving the fire of oxygen, slowing the combustion process, and helping to control the fire until emergency responders arrive.

The Fire Cloak™ EV Fire Blanket has been rigorously tested in real-life fire scenarios and independently certified to meet the highest international fire safety standards. It is the only fire blanket of its kind to achieve a CLASS 0 fire resistance rating, as certified by BS476: Part 6 & Part 7, which evaluates the spread of flames and the fire propagation index.
