Description
The simulated wound is designed for realistic first aid, tactical medicine, and trauma management training exercises. It replicates a large entry gunshot wound and is ready to use straight from the package, requiring no additional adhesive, special effects make-up, or other attachment materials.
The self-adhesive simulation is applied directly to a casualty actor’s skin, allowing a training scenario to be prepared quickly without additional setup. According to the manufacturer, the simulated wound can be removed from one casualty actor and transferred to another without additional treatment, making it suitable for repeated training sessions and different practical exercise scenarios.
If the simulation becomes contaminated during use, it can be washed with warm soapy water. Once dirt and debris have been removed, the adhesive properties of the self-adhesive backing are restored.
