Description
The simulated wound is designed for realistic first aid, tactical medicine, and trauma management training. It realistically replicates a large laceration and is ready to use straight from the package, requiring no additional adhesive, make-up, or other attachment materials.
The self-adhesive backing allows the simulation to be applied directly to a casualty actor’s skin, enabling rapid preparation of a training scenario without additional setup. According to the manufacturer, the wound simulation can be transferred from one casualty actor to another without additional treatment and can be reused.
If the surface becomes contaminated during use and its adhesion is reduced, the simulation can be washed with warm soapy water. Once cleaned, the self-adhesive backing regains its adhesive properties.
