Description
The three-layer Reflexcell construction is designed to provide effective thermal protection during prolonged exposure to cold environments. Compared with two-layer solutions, this construction creates more enclosed air cells that act as an additional layer of thermal insulation and help reduce body heat loss.
The metallized inner surfaces effectively reflect radiant body heat back toward the wearer, helping to maintain optimal body temperature. Meanwhile, the protective outer layer reduces the effects of wind and moisture, which are among the main factors contributing to rapid body heat loss.
Thanks to these properties, the three-layer Reflexcell construction is suitable for situations where a casualty needs prolonged protection from adverse environmental conditions—while awaiting emergency services, receiving first aid at the scene, during search and rescue operations, or when operating in extreme weather conditions.
