Description
NIO Pediatric is an intraosseous access device designed for paediatric patients, providing rapid and controlled vascular access when conventional intravenous access is difficult to establish or when there is insufficient time to obtain it.
Paediatric anatomy requires particular precision: children have thinner bone tissue, making both speed and controlled needle insertion especially important. NIO Pediatric uses automatic intraosseous access technology adapted to paediatric anatomy and emergency care requirements.
The device is supplied pre-assembled and ready for use, eliminating the need to assemble multiple system components before the procedure. The needle remains protected inside the device housing until activation, helping reduce the risk of accidental needlestick injury during preparation and allowing the device to be stored safely in emergency medical kits.
Its compact, self-contained design is particularly important in critical situations where procedures must be performed rapidly and additional preparation steps can consume valuable time.
