Description
FCP-06 is a white 6-inch (15 cm) Israeli elastic pressure bandage designed for dressing larger wounds and controlling severe bleeding. The wider absorbent pad provides coverage for a larger area of damaged tissue, making the bandage particularly useful when effective and evenly distributed pressure is required over the wound area.
The white elastic bandage provides an additional practical advantage: blood soaking through the dressing is easier to detect against the light-coloured surface, helping users assess whether bleeding remains effectively controlled.
The FCP-06 follows the same design principles as the military Israeli Bandage, combining a sterile absorbent pad, elastic bandage, integrated pressure applicator, and securing mechanism in a single device. The pressure applicator helps provide additional focused pressure over the wound, while the bandage construction enables rapid and secure fixation.
The bandage can also be self-applied, making it suitable for situations where an injured person needs to provide care to themselves.
