Description
The green-and-silver thermal rescue blanket is a compact first-aid aid designed to help reduce heat loss and protect an injured person from adverse environmental conditions. It is used by emergency medical services, rescue teams, the military, first-aid professionals, as well as in civilian emergency preparedness kits.
Unlike conventional gold-and-silver or silver-and-silver thermal blankets, this model features a green outer side. The matte green surface reflects less light, making the blanket particularly suitable for outdoor, tactical, search-and-rescue environments where reducing visibility and avoiding bright reflections are important.
The inner silver side reflects the thermal radiation emitted by the human body and, when facing the body, helps reduce heat loss and provides protection against hypothermia.
