Description
The Heatsaver is designed to provide thermal protection for a casualty in situations where evacuation is prolonged or the casualty must remain on a stretcher for an extended period while awaiting transport. Its bag-style construction encloses the entire body and helps reduce heat loss through convection and radiation, providing improved protection against adverse environmental conditions and hypothermia.
The Heatsaver is part of the modular Xtract SR system and is designed for use with the system’s stretcher and base. This compatibility allows thermal protection to be integrated into the overall casualty preparation, evacuation, and transport process without changing the stretcher system in use.
Can it be used without the Xtract SR stretcher?
